at Nehemiah 1

1. Do you have any comments/questions about the Bible passage or regarding the speech on the theme 'Intercession in Persia for Jerusalem'?
   
   
2. In Nehemiah's prayer it is striking how he speaks to God, his confession, how he uses God's own words, and what questions he asks God. What lessons do we have in this prayer of Nehemiah?
   
   
3. Nehemiah prays for the city of Jerusalem. Are we intercessors for the place where we live or for a 'city at a distance'? How can we do that? What would we pray for?
   
   
4. What does it mean to us that Christ is Intercessor and that He rules over all the rulers of this earth?
