QUESTIONS TO THE SPEECH 
at Lucas 9: 28-36 and 2 Peter 1: 13-21

Questions:

1. Do you have any comments/questions regarding the speech on the theme 'We don't believe in fairy tales' or on the Bible passage?
   
   
2. Are you ever addressed (by others or in your own heart) that the message of God in His Word is all just 'fabrications'? How do you deal with that?
   
   
3. Today it is also about Peter. The 'young' Peter often does not seem to understand or accept the message of Jesus. The 'old' Peter seems to be firmly convinced of what God says.
   - Can you understand both situations? What from his life do you recognize in yourself?
   
   
4. Peter's goal is that his readers themselves trust in 'the light that shines in a dark place'. He wants to convince with two examples that the Word of God is really true and reliable:
   - Speaking of God at the transfiguration on the mountain;
   - The speaking of the prophets who are 'moved' by the Spirit to tell about Christ.

How can these two examples help us in our daily (faith) life?
